Green Hub Festival

The Green Hub Festival is the culmination of the Green Hub Fellowship where the fellows get to showcase their final films.  Each year it is a connecting point for all stakeholders linked to the Green Hub project. Special emphasis is on the participation of indigenous community members from the project sites. The festival has grown as a community event as sees the coming together of filmmakers, practitioners, students, academics, organisations, forest department, artists, musicians and civil society.  It is also an annual gathering for the Alumni.

The festival theme is ‘Youth For Forests’ and keeping that central, stories unfold through sessions,  films, music, art and conversations The festival in the initial years was held in partnership with Tezpur University.  Now  the festival is in partnership with Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH). This is an extension of the collaboration with Youth Wellness Hub in LGBRIMH.
